All our electrical and electronic services
Diagnosis of warning lights: Check Engine, TPMS, etc.
A warning light on your dashboard is never to be overlooked. Thanks to our advanced diagnostic tools, we can quickly identify the source of the problem – whether it’s the engine, tire pressure, or a faulty sensor – to intervene effectively and avoid any complications.
Lighting: headlights, taillights, etc.
Good lighting is essential for seeing and being seen, day and night. We replace and fine-tune your headlights, taillights, turn signals and brake lights to ensure your safety and that of other road users.
Driving assistance systems: radar, sensors, reversing camera
Driving assistance technologies offer comfort and safety. Our technicians check, calibrate and repair sensors, parking radars, reversing cameras and other electronic devices to ensure they work properly in all circumstances.
Battery: test, recharge, replace
A weak battery can leave you stranded at the worst possible time. We test the voltage and capacity of your battery, recharge it if possible or replace it with a model adapted to your vehicle to guarantee reliable starting in all seasons.
Alternator and starter
The alternator charges your battery and the starter motor starts the engine. If one of these elements shows signs of weakness, we carry out a complete diagnosis and replace the defective components to ensure optimal operation of the starting system.
Why maintain your electrical and electronic systems?
The smooth running of your vehicle relies on a complete electrical system: battery, alternator, starter, but also warning lights, lighting, sensors and driving aids (radar, cameras, TPMS, etc.).
Over time, these components can become worn, clogged or less reliable. The signs are sometimes discreet: a slower start-up, warning lights that light up, less powerful lights or a sensor that reacts badly. Preventive maintenance allows you to:
- Avoid sudden breakdowns or impossible starts
- Maintain the efficiency of lighting and safety systems
- Extend the life of your electrical components
- Identify anomalies before they become costly
At Alex Pneu et Mécanique, we perform a complete check: battery test, alternator and starter analysis, indicator code reading, lighting check and sensor inspection.
We use reliable parts and precise diagnostic tools to identify problems quickly and offer you clear solutions. With reliable parts and transparent diagnostics, you can leave with peace of mind

Frequently asked questions about the electronic & electrical system
When should I replace my car's battery?
In general, a battery lasts between 3 and 5 years. Signs such as slow starting, poorly reacting accessories or warning lights indicate that it’s time to have it tested
How do I know if my alternator is at fault?
If your battery is new but continues to discharge, if a battery light comes on, or if your headlights dim while driving, the alternator may be faulty.
What does a Check Engine or TPMS light mean?
These lights indicate a problem in one or more of the vehicle’s systems. Electronic diagnosis is required to read the error codes and locate the cause.
Can you diagnose all dashboard warning lights?
Yes. We use advanced diagnostic tools compatible with most vehicles to read error codes and identify the necessary repairs.
Why do my headlights seem less powerful than before?
This may be due to a bulb reaching the end of its life, a power supply problem, or a faulty alternator. A quick inspection will clarify the situation.
My reversing sensor no longer works, what should I do?
It could be a dirty, damaged or disconnected sensor. We inspect the driver assistance systems (radar, sensors, cameras) to identify and resolve the problem.
Do you offer replacement parts?
Yes. If a component is defective (battery, alternator, starter motor, sensor, etc.), we offer quality parts that are suitable for your vehicle.
Are your diagnostics guaranteed?
Yes. We offer a clear, documented and reliable diagnosis. In the event of replacement, our parts are covered by a parts and labor warranty.
